KAJ Goju Ryu Karate-Do Sri Lanka is dedicated to the practice, preservation, and development of authentic Japanese Goju Ryu Karate-Do in Sri Lanka.
Our organization follows the technical principles, traditions, and philosophy of All Japan Karate-Do Federation Gojukai (JKF Gojukai), while continuing its Karate-Do training and development in association with Goju Ryu Karate-Do Seiwakai. KAJ Goju Ryu Karate-Do Sri Lanka is an Official Branch of the All Japan Karate-Do Federation Gojukai (JKF Gojukai).
Under the leadership of Sensei Damith Bandara, President and Chief Instructor, the organization maintains its commitment to continuously developing and updating its technical knowledge through training, guidance, and international connections with recognized Goju Ryu Karate-Do organizations.
Our purpose extends far beyond teaching fighting techniques or achieving success in competition. We believe that true Karate-Do is a lifelong journey that develops the body, strengthens the mind, builds character, and teaches discipline and respect.
Through systematic training, we aim to develop discipline, confidence, respect, courage, perseverance, leadership, responsibility, physical fitness, and strong character in every student.

We practice and develop JKF Gojukai Karate while maintaining our training and development through our association with Goju Ryu Karate-Do Seiwakai.
Through these international connections, Sensei Damith Bandara continues to update and develop the technical standards, knowledge, and training methods of KAJ Goju Ryu Karate-Do Sri Lanka. This enables our instructors and students to remain connected with the international development of Goju Ryu Karate-Do while preserving its traditional Japanese principles and values.
Through international seminars, specialized training, technical exchanges, and interaction with experienced international instructors and masters, we continuously strive to maintain and improve the standard of Karate-Do practiced within our organization.

Gojuryu Karate Do was founded by Chojun Miyagi Sensei in Okinawa, Japan. His teachings and philosophy form the foundation of our practice, emphasizing hard and soft techniques, breathing, and the balance of mind, body, and spirit.
